Full professors in all disciplines, whose specialty does not necessarily
relate to Korea, are encouraged to apply for Korea's Distinguished
Lecturer award at Yonsei University, one of the most prestigious
universities in Korea. The original deadline of August 1st has been
extended on a case-by-case basis. Submit your most up-to-date CV to
Program Officer Mamiko Hada (mhada at cies.iie.org) for consultation before
applying. Full professorship with tenure, distinguished record of
professional/academic accomplishment and U.S. citizenship are required.
U.S. permanent residents are not eligible.
As a Fulbright Distinguished Lecturer, you will gain a
once-in-a-life-time opportunity to touch the minds of bright and
dedicated students in one of the most technologically advanced and
economically successful societies in the world. Get involved in the
intellectual life with top South Korean scholars who are often educated
in the United States. Applicants from all disciplines are accepted,
although those in humanities and social sciences are particularly
sought. Lecturing is in English.
