Announcing a symposium:

International e-Participation and Local Democracy Symposium  Promoting
social inclusion via e-participation.

Sponsored by: the British Government, the United Nations and a host of
other organizations.

Three days in Budapest, Hungary (July 26-28, 2006) and one day in
Baltimore, MD,. USA (August 3, 2006).

This symposium is aimed at both practitioners and academics and will
feature best practices and current research on e-democracy and
e-participation.
