Subject: Update on Larry Terry
This is a follow up to my earlier note regarding Larry Terry, sent at the
request of someone who was very close to him. For those who did not receive
the earlier note, this may come as a shock--so be prepared. To the best of
my understanding, Larry Terry suffered a massive seizure on June 12, was
pronounced brain dead on June 14 and taken off life support. I was asked
today to convey the following:
Larry died peacefully on Saturday, June 17. His funeral will be held on
Friday, June 23, in Tulsa, Oklahoma (more details to come). The University
of Texas at Dallas will establish a scholarship fund in Larry's name (again,
more to come).
This is a difficult time. I'm sure we all feel a great loss. I wish I had
happier news to convey. David
